URBOND is a charity working to advance diversity and equality, so as to promote a community that is strong, cohesive and inclusive of all beliefs, backgrounds and ideologies.
The charity was founded with the primary purpose of helping the local community to thrive by providing all of its members with the inspiration and opportunities for integration along with access to resources for support, enabling them to tackle key issues in society.
Here are what people are saying about our charity:
MP
It is fantastic to see URBOND growing from strength to strength, the charitable organisation is promoting cohesive city, encouraging bond between members of the community irrespective of their race, belief or background. Special thanks to everyone for lending their support to URBOND
Councillor
Community cohesion in Portsmouth is a very important issue. We’re working here as a council in conjunction with community groups, faith groups and the police to ensure community cohesion is carried out in a constructive way. I welcome the creation of URBOND and it’s an excellent opportunity for people to come together in a welcoming environment on a regular basis.
Volunteer
I have been attending URBOND’s charitable events and activities for well over a couple years now and truly feel the guys running it are doing such a fantastic job in the community. What strikes me the most is the integration of different cultures coming together for a common purpose, raising funds to help enrich the lives of the less fortunate. I was approached by URBOND to abseil down the Spinnaker Tower last August to raise funds for the charities that they were supporting at the time.
