URBOND proudly announced the success of its Annual Charity Ball, held on Saturday, 22nd November, where 120 guests gathered for an evening of food, drinks, and uplifting entertainment in support of underserved communities across the UK and in the Republic of Guinea.

The event was made possible through the generous support of headline sponsor GRP Solutions, along with support from NIHR Research Delivery Network.

Guests were treated to exceptional live performances by young local artists Ruth Akinmukomi and Emmanuel Ogwuche, whose moving performances brought many in the audience to tears. It’s worth noting that both musicians are products of the URBOND music studio.

A highlight of the night was the presentation of URBOND’s annual awards, recognising individuals and organisations making a meaningful difference:

URBOND Award: Smangele Gwengwe

It was a night of inspiration as attendees came together in support of URBOND’s mission to empower underserved communities through education, development, and wellbeing initiatives.
